Root Canal

What is Endodontic Treatment
Endodontic treatment, also known as root canal, is a common treatment these days to save infective teeth from pain. The dentist performs the treatment by removing decayed tissue and nerves inside the tooth. Without the treatment the tooth might have to be extracted in the worst case.
How it Works
Treatment for a root canal usually requires two visits separate in a few weeks.
The first visit is to relieve the pain by clearing away the damaged pulp. After the root
chamber is cleaned, an artificial root will be inserted into the teeth. When the
symptoms are gone, here comes the second visit for restoring the original shape of
the teeth.
