Convenient Dental Services for Refugees

Convenient Dental Services for Refugees
Are you new to Canada? Rest assured—you are protected. For refugees covered by Canada’s Interim Federal Health Program, our clinic offers free general dentistry services (IFHP).
Who is covered?
The program provides limited, temporary coverage of dental care benefits to the following group:
- resettled refugees
- refugee claimants
- in-Canada protected persons
- certain other groups (detainees, victims of human trafficking)
You can get further information or assistance from us if you’re unsure if you qualify for the IFHP program or if your coverage is still valid.
What treatments are covered?
IFHP covers emergency oral exams; X-rays; caries, trauma, and pain control; emergency prescriptions; restorations; tooth extractions; complete and partial dentures; denture relines; and denture repairs(some of the treatments require preauthorization).
Convenient Service
Our clinic offers practical services that will facilitate refugee’s’ adjustment. On your behalf, we will check the coverage and submit claims. We also have emergency priority spots available seven days a week for individuals who are in pain. Cantonese, Mandarin, and English are spoken by our doctor.
